Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Padro uses on padro.ai, app.padro.ai and every twin page Padro hosts (together, the "Service"), and how you can control them. It adds detail to section 8 of our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

Padro is run by Aryaman Sharma, a sole proprietor in Ontario, Canada, doing business as Padro ("Padro", "we", "us").

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something about your visit, such as the fact that you've signed in. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same kind of job. In this policy, "cookies" covers both.

Cookies set by the site you're visiting are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company's service used on that site are third-party cookies.

2. How we use cookies

Padro uses only the cookies it needs to work. We use them to keep you signed in, to connect a conversation with a twin to your browser, and to remember simple interface choices.

We don't use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cookies that track you across other websites, and we don't sell information collected through cookies.

Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide the Service you ask for, they're set without a consent banner. If we ever add cookies that aren't strictly necessary, such as analytics, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

The marketing site at padro.ai doesn't set cookies of its own.

4. Third-party cookies

Some pages send you to, or include, services run by other companies, which set their own cookies under their own policies:

• Stripe and Link. When you buy or manage a plan, Stripe's checkout and Link's pages set cookies to process the payment, keep it secure and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy and Link's privacy policy.
• Booking a call. The "Book a demo" and "Talk to us" links open Google Calendar's appointment booking page, which Google runs under its own terms and privacy policy and which may set its own cookies.
• Links to other sites, such as our social profiles or sources cited in our blog posts, are governed by those sites' own cookie policies.

We don't control these cookies. Please check the third party's own policy for details.

5. Managing cookies

You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser's settings. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies only, or clear cookies when you close the browser. Your browser's help pages explain how.

If you block or delete Padro's cookies, parts of the Service won't work as expected: you'll be signed out, you may need a new sign-in code each time you visit, and a twin won't be able to connect messages you sent before signing in to your account.

6. Changes to this policy

We'll post changes here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, for example because we start using a new kind of cookie, we'll tell creators by email or in the app before it takes effect.
